Archer is a modern quilt that combines gentle curves and straight lines for a rhythmic, minimalist look. In session 1, Jenn will walk you through several techniques for creating the curvy blocks and you'll have time to practice the skill. In session 2, you'll learn 4-at-a-time Flying Geese block construction and build your quilt top. Depending on the quilt size chosen and the work done between sessions, students will have completed blocks for assembly, or a fully pieced top, by the end of the class.

Skill Level:  Experienced beginner-intermediate. Prior curve sewing experience (e.g., Drunkard's Path) helpful but not required!

In this intermediate class, students will learn strip piecing techniques to create grid or checkerboard designs in their quilt blocks. We’ll demystify the dreaded scant ¼” seam and build your confidence with practice blocks of increasing complexity. If you’ve been eyeing patterns like Lo & Behold Stitchery’s Deco, Knitted Blooms, or Granny Patch - this class will set you up for success!

Are you curve-curious? Are you ready to step outside the HST and into the world of curved piecing? In this class, you’ll learn how to use templates and piece quarter-circle curve blocks. We’ll explore three different techniques for machine piecing 8 ½” blocks, and you’ll have the opportunity to use your favorite technique to make at least one smaller (more challenging) block.

Skill Level: Experienced beginner - participants should be comfortable with their sewing machine and ideally experienced with a rotary cutter.
